The 2024 Legion Full Battle Rattle Triathlon in Colon, Michigan has been cancelled for this year. Originally scheduled for July 20, 2024 the triathlon race event will resume in 2025 with a new look and site location.The 2024 Legion Full Battle Rattle Triathlon located on Palmer Lake Colon, Michigan was cancelled May 5, 2024 by the Race Director and race board. Cancellation for the 2024 race was due to course safety risks and time constraints that negatively impacted transition site, swim location, and bike course safety falling outside the required USA Triathlon guidelines. “For the safety of everyone that participates to include those who volunteer, the decision was made to cancel the race for this year”, said Tim Haidl, triathlon race director. Look for the 2025 Legion Full Battle Rattle Triathlon to be announced this coming Summer with a new look and better venue
